You won’t want to miss our Wednesday night (August 28) program! Meet local law enforcement at Hillel on Wednesday night at 8 p.m. They’ll talk about their new community policing program and they’ll answer almost any question you ask. Then, walk over to Northgate with the PD as they tour the region’s hottest entertainment district!
This Friday night (August 30), join us for our welcome back Shabbat where we will “Eat The Hell Outta Rice,” in honor of the Aggie’s first game of the season against Rice University. We will have chicken stir-fry, rice-meatballs, rice pudding, chicken and rice soup, (non-rice) challah, and much more! Join us at 6 p.m. for schmoozing, 6:30 p.m. for services, and 7:30 p.m. for dinner (or just show up for dinner, we don’t mind). Gig ’em and BTHO Rice!
It was a pleasant move-in day in Aggieland on Sunday, August 18 as on-campus freshmen students officially moved into their dorms. At Hillel, we celebrated move-in day with an afternoon hot dog and hamburger BBQ in the building, with about two dozen students in attendance, about half of whom were new to Texas A&M.
We have a full lineup of high Holy Day services! Current Aggies with identification are admitted free to all services and all meals, as well! Take a look at the complete schedule of services on our High Holy Days page! Thanks and Gig ’em!
