Fifteen students traveled along with Rabbi Matt Rosenberg to Washington D.C. in the largest Aggie delegation to AIPAC Policy Conference yet. AIPAC Policy Conference was held from Sunday, March 26 through Tuesday, March 28. On the last day of the conference, the Aggie delegation met with and thanked local Congressman Bill Flores for his ongoing support of Israel and encouraged him to co-sponsor several Israel-related bills in Congress. The student delegation, which included incoming Student Body President Bobby Brooks, current Student Government Vice President Dan Rosenfield, Hillel President Aaron Blasband, and Aggie Students Supporting Israel President Joy Koonin, attended informative sessions at the conference which included such speakers as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Vice President Mike Pence, Speaker of the House of Representatives Paul Ryan, United States Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, and other political leaders.
